Describe the object before the advertisement
The workflow needs a product description, not a finished campaign. Include the object, material, color, finish, and view. For example: “A warm white ceramic coffee mug with a matte glaze, shown at a three-quarter angle with the handle fully visible, under soft studio light.”
Keep taglines, price badges, room scenes, and page layout instructions out of this first request. They make it harder to tell whether the product itself is correct.
Inspect the studio version at full size
Fableton first creates the product on a clean studio background. Open that image at full size before continuing. Check the silhouette, proportions, openings, handles, seams, reflections, and any repeated parts. If the object has a label, compare every visible word and symbol with the intended design.
This is the version to correct. A clean cutout or a larger file will preserve the same product mistakes if you approve them here.
Test the transparent edge on two backgrounds
The next step removes the background and returns a transparent PNG. Thin and reflective parts need the closest inspection. Look around glass, cables, handles, soft shadows, and narrow gaps inside the object.
Place the cutout on both a light and a dark color. A pale halo may disappear on white but show up immediately on a dark card. A missing shadow can also make the product look as if it is floating, so decide whether the final layout needs a separate shadow.
Keep the enlarged original as a separate file
The final workflow step enlarges the original studio image, not the transparent cutout. Use it when a print layout, presentation, or large web placement needs more pixels. Check small text and crisp edges again after enlargement.
If the approved product image needs motion, continue with the still-image animation guide.
Keep these files
- The approved studio image with its original background.
- The transparent PNG checked on light and dark colors.
- The enlarged studio image for larger placements.
- The exact product description used for the approved result.
